This collage series was created in pairs using photographs from British Mandate Palestine, a zoology handbook, pages from an Arabic dictionary, and assorted ephemera (chocolate box paper, leather Swedish hymnal cover …). Here I am exploring the possibility that, historically speaking, Arabs and Jews are nearly indistinguishable.
When rational, political engagement is all but dead, is anything left but a magical solution?
